Umerah Beats England U20 Star Lookman To Charlton Goal Of The Month Award
Published: October 13, 2016
Josh Umerah has won Charlton Athletic’s Goal of the Month Award for September, writes the official website of the Addicks.
The Academy graduate’s strike against Coventry City U23s at The Valley collected more than fifty percent of the votes in the official poll.
Umerah saw off competition from England U20 international of Nigerian descent Ademola Lookman, Albie Morgan, Josh Magennis and Karlan Ahearne-Grant.
He scored the sixth goal in the 7-2 thumping of Coventry City with a brilliant shot from twenty-five yards.
In April, Umerah signed a contract extension with Charlton Athletic which will see him remain at SE7 8BL until the summer of 2018.
