Ex-Nigeria Target Gives Algerian Federation Condition For Coaching National Team
Published: October 16, 2016
The Algerian Football Federation have to meet a condition of former Nigeria target, Paul Le Guen, before he accepts to coach their national team ahead of the World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles next month.
Le Buteur has reported that the FAF agreed that the former Cameroon coach should bring his five staff, but are mindful of the fact that they face a budget constraint and want to retain Belhadji Hassan and Nabil Neghiz.
Paul Le Guen held high-level discussions with the FAF president Mohamed Raouraoua in Paris last week.
Ex-manager of the Belgian national team, Marc Wilmots, is reportedly in contact with the Algerian Federation and will agree to coach the Desert Foxes if they meet his financial demands.
The Federation are expected to announce the name of the new coach this week.
