Ex-Nigeria U17 Trainee Nominated For Man Of The Match Accolade On Full Debut For Liverpool

Former Golden Eaglets trainee Ovie Ejaria impressed on his full debut for Liverpool against Spurs so much so that he was one of the one players nominated for the official Man of the Match award by the Reds.
To win the accolade, the 18-year-old will have to see off competition from two-goal hero Daniel Sturridge, Kevin Stewart and Gini Wijnaldum.
Twenty-five minutes before the end of voting, Ejaria was fourth with 16 percent of the votes, behind Sturridge, Wijnaldum and Stewart.
In his post match comments, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was impressed with the performance of his young Nigerian midfielder, stating that he was really good despite the pressure and new circumstances.
The former Arsenal Academy player has played two competitive games this season.
