Super Eagles coach Genort Rohr has also met with Watford striker Isaac Success ahead of the national team’s World Cup qualifier against Algeria next month.
United-Kingdom based Tunde Adelakun, who is close to the leadership of the Nigerian Federation, has uploaded a picture of the meeting between the German manager and Watford strikers Success and Ighalo.
He stated that the Hornets number ten did not honour his invitation for the Super Eagle tie in Zambia due to injury and further confirmed that he is still on the sidelines.
“I met @SuccessIsaac and confirm that he was injured and still is. Committed to the @thenff and @NGSuperEagles cause. Unfairly criticised, ” tweeted Adelakun.
This website understands that Watford are worried that Success is struggling with his fitness since he joined the club as he played 30 games (28 starts) for Granada last season.
