Olufela Olomola, 19, is close to fully earning promotion to the Southampton first team from the development squad, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
For the fourth time this season, the young offensive player has made the Saints 18-man squad for a competitive fixture as they prepare to take on Chelsea in the Premier League.
Fela was handed his competitive debut in Southampton’s 1-0 win over Victor Anichebe’s Sunderland in the League Cup, after sitting on the bench against Hapoel Beer Sheva (Europa League) and Leicester City (Premier League).
