Nigeria U23 Ace Junior Ajayi Opens Account For The Red Devils

Junior Ajayi grabbed his first goal in an Al Ahly shirt as the African powerhouse settled for a point in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Al Ittihad Alexandria Club in the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday.
Before the fixture at Petrosport Stadium (Kattameya), the Nigeria U23 international had played three games against Wadi Degla, Aswan and Petrojet without finding the back of the net.
With the visitors trailing 2-1, Ajayi restored parity in the 69th minute when he volleyed home from inside the box after he was fed by a teammate.
The 20-year-old accumulated 188 minutes of playing time before opening his account for the Red Devils.
Junior Ajayi committed his future to Al Ahly in the summer by appending his signature to a four-year contract.
