Algeria Sweating On Fitness Of Star Striker Ahead Of WCQ Against Nigeria

New Algeria coach Georges Leekens is sweating on the fitness of Dinamo Zagreb striker Hilal Soudani ahead of his team’s match day two World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.
The 28-year-old had to be replaced six minutes before the end of Dinamo Zagreb’s league game with NK Inter Zapresic on Saturday because of a muscular thing injury.
It is not yet known the severity of the injury suffered by the former Vitória Guimarães SC star until he undergoes further tests.
Hilal Soudani is one of the shining lights of the Algeria squad this term, with 8 goals in 18 appearances for the Croatian champions and is expected to make the squad that will be announced on Tuesday.
He started and played 77 minutes of the Desrert Foxes 1-1 draw with Cameroon earlier this month and opened scoring early in the first half.
