Chelsea Loanee Abraham Happy To Choose England Ahead Of Nigeria
Published: November 04, 2016
Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has spoken of his happiness at being called up to England’s U21 national team for international friendlies with Italy and France in November.
The tall attacker is known to be on the radar of the Nigeria Football Federation, but it appears he is one hundred percent committed to England cause, and has snubbed overtures from the African powerhouse.
Camberwell-born Abraham represented England at U18 and U19 level before he was promoted to the U21s this season on the back of his performances for Bristol City in the Championship.
“Honoured to be selected to represent @England u21s ð¦ð¦ð¦, ” tweeted Tammy Abraham.
Abraham has scored an impressive 12 goals in 19 appearances since his loan move to Bristol City in the summer.
