NFF Pay Flight Tickets Of Chelsea Stars Mikel & Moses, Man City Talent Iheanacho, 19 Foreign Pros
Published: November 06, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com can independently confirm that the Nigeria Football Federation have finally paid for the flight tickets of all the 22 foreign-based professionals called up for the World Cup qualifier versus Algeria in six days time.
A number of players had claimed that the Federation made On-Hold reservations and were not sure whether or not the tickets will be paid for before their departure for Abuja as from this weekend.
Now the NFF have insisted that the players ought not to have raised a false alarm because they already made plans to pay for these tickets and have done same.
Chippa United glovesman Daniel Akpeyi, the last player called up to the squad, has also been sent his flight ticket, and is expected to depart South Africa on Sunday.
It should be noted that the Nigeria Football Federation have reimbursed all the players their traveling expenses incurred for the game with Zambia last month.
