Etebo, Alampasu In Race Against Time To Join Super Eagles Training On Tuesday Morning
Published: November 07, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm that CD Feirense attacking midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo and teammate Dele Alampasu landed in Nigeria from Portugal on Monday evening.
However, the two players are facing a race against time to meet up with their international teammates in Abuja before the start of training on Tuesday morning.
Upon their arrival in Lagos, Etebo and Alampasu discovered that there were no commercial flights to take them to nation’s capital.
The Portuguese-based pair have been called up to the Super Eagles for the first time since German Gernot Rohr was appointed coach, with Etebo not considered for the earlier rosters due to injury.
