Published: November 08, 2016
Looking ahead to his country’ World Cup qualifier against Nigeria in Uyo, Algerian Football Federation president, Mohamed
Raouraoua, has sent a message to the Desert Foxes players, advising
them not to be too talkative.
At a meeting on Sunday, Raouraoua motivated the players, referred to several comments they made in the media and cautioned them to their talking on the pitch.
“Stop talking. I noticed that you talked too much lately. You are footballers and you must do your talking on the field. You will prove yourself in the field. This is the best way to respond, ” Raouraoua said, according to Le Buteur.
“Honestly, I trust you. I know what you are capable. I know you’re able to go win there. I know this team has potential.
“I know you’re all volunteers on the ground. You just focus and give your all and Inshallah, we will achieve a good result. I trust you.”
While Nigeria will have their first training session on Tuesday morning, the Algerians started serious preparations for the game on Monday and had a light workout on Sunday.
