Napoli Star Set For Game Of His Life Vs Victor Moses; Nigerian Embassy Frustrate Bendebka
Published: November 11, 2016
Napoli’s Algerian left wing-back Faouzi Ghoulam is in line to face the Nigerian national team on Saturday evening at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium in a World Cup qualifier.
The French-born defender has recovered from a groin complaint and was in the Desert Foxes 23-man traveling party to Uyo on Thursday evening.
Having participated in full training with the squad prior to their departure to Nigeria, Ghoulam will face off against Super Eagles winger Victor Moses if he is named in the starting XI by manager Georges Leekens.
NA Hussein Dey midfielder Sofiane Bendebka has not traveled with the squad because he was not issued a visa by the Embassy of Nigeria in Algiers.
The Algerians, who are lodged at the Le Meridien Resort, arrived in Uyo at 1710 hours.
