Odion Ighalo Returns To Watford On Tuesday After International Duty
Published: November 14, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Watford striker Odion Ighalo will fly back to the United Kingdom on Monday night after international duty with the Super Eagles.
The Hornets number 24 was among the six Premier League stars included in Nigeria’s roster for the World Cup qualifier versus Algeria, the others being Ahmed Musa (Leicester City), Kelechi Iheanacho (Man City), Alex Iwobi (Arsenal), Mikel and Victor Moses( both Chelsea).
It is assumed that Ighalo was not given a run-out after Chelsea loanee Kenneth Omeruo picked up an injury and skipper Mikel became fatigued as a result of his lack of game time for Chelsea, and both were substituted.
The 27-year-old Ighalo has scored 3 goals after 11 appearances for the senior national team.
