Peter Odemwingie Suffers Defeat With Rotherham United In Full Debut
Published: November 19, 2016
Super Eagles striker, Peter Odemwingie, finally made his full debut appearance for his Championship club, Rotherham United.
But it was not to be the dream start he would have wished for as the Millers suffered a painful 3-0 loss at the hands of Derby County.
Odemwingie who joined the Championship side having been released by Premier League side Stoke City made the starting eleven alongside Tom Adeyemi.
The former Lokomotive Moscow star showed some flashes of brilliance in the game but was unfortunate to be booked in the 79th minute.
Tom Ince and Darren Bent scored within four first-half minutes of each other to put them on track and then a second for Ince applied gloss on a win that sends Derby into the top half.
