Barnet Star John Akinde Hoping To Follow In The Footsteps Of Victor Moses

Nigerian striker John Akinde has been nominated for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month in the Sky Bet League Two.
The Barnet star is in the running for the award, which is voted for by fans, alongside Aaron Pierre (Wycombe Wanderers), Kyle Vassell (Blackpool), Liam Mandeville (Doncaster Rovers), Matt Godden (Stevenage) and Michael Smith (Portsmouth).
Akinde caught the eye in November, scoring three goals in four starts and helping The Bees climb to eighth position on the table.
The winner of the award will be announced by Sky Sports at 1000 hours on Saturday, December 3.
