Despite speculations on his move to Leicester City in the January transfer window, Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is concentrating on KRC Genk’s match against Lokeren in the Belgian First Division A on Sunday.
The former Nath Boys star has been tipped to fill the vacuum left by N’Golo Kante in the Foxes come January, while Manchester United have also been credited with an interest.
Ndidi, who was on the score sheet for Genk in their 3-1 away win versus Waasland-Beveren in the Beker Van Belgie on Wednesday, November 30 said that victory has prepared them for tomorrow’s battle at the Cristal Arena.
“Every battle won or lost is a preparation for another battle to be won or lost. Looking forward to Genk vs Lokeren on Sunday#Living4Football, ” Ndidi posted on Twitter.
Racing Genk currently occupy the ninth position in the Belgian top-flight standings.
