Fenerbahce Join Leipzig, Anderlecht & Hoffenheim In Race For Henry Onyekuru
Published: December 05, 2016
Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahçe have joined the race for the signature of KAS Eupen’s Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru in the January transfer window.
Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad claims the Yellow Canaries are monitoring the performance of the 19-year-old frontman with a view to a bid in the coming weeks.
But Fenerbahce face serious competition, with the player also on the radar of Leipzig, Anderlecht and Hoffenheim.
Onyekuru’s brilliant form this season has caught the eye having netted 8 goals in all competitions for his modest Belgian club and he has provided five helpers.
Under contract with KAS Eupen until the summer of 2020, he is rated in the region of €1.5 million by transfer market experts.
