Nigeria Target & Chelsea Loanee Abraham Would Have Scored 50 League Goals If...
Published: December 09, 2016
Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has been backed by his teammate Aaron Wilbraham to find his scoring boots after scoring once in his last nine matches.
The England U21 international, who is on the radar of the Nigeria Football Federation, caught the eye earlier in the season with 11 goals from 14 appearances.
“Tammy was never going to continue that goalscoring form from the start of the season,” Wilbraham said to Bristol City Player HD.
“If he had done then he would have been scoring 40 or 50 goals in the Championship and that just doesn’t happen.
“It’s only four games since his last goal and I don’t see it as a drought. He’s still getting in the right positions.
“He’s still doing well in training and I don’t need to be giving him any advice. He’ll start scoring again, no doubts about it.”
Abraham, 19, thought he had scored against QPR and Reading but the goals were wrongly disallowed for offside.
