Exclusive: Confirmed - Manchester City Striker Iheanacho Earns 56,000 Pounds Per Week
Published: December 14, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com can authoritatively reveal that Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho earns less than the salary being reported in the media.
In August 2016, Manchester City secured the future of one of the most talented youngsters in Africa by offering the attacker a new deal that will see him earn 56,000 pounds per week (equivalent of N33.6 million in Nigerian currency at the unofficial rate).
Before penning a two-year contract extension with the Etihad outfit, Iheanacho was earning £20,000-a-week if the wages taxed is not included in the mix.
Manchester City offered the Taye Academy product a new contract after he made the required number of appearances for the first team.
The 20-year-old will make his 51st appearance for City’s first team if he features against Watford tonight.
