Kingsley Sokari, Tunisian Agent Scotch Rumours About Move To Metz
Published: December 28, 2016
Reports linking Nigeria international Kingsley Sokari with a transfer to Ligue 1 outfit Metz are wide of the mark, with the attacking midfielder and his Tunisian intermediary wasting no time to dismiss the reports in the local media.
Having said that, the former Enyimba star could depart CS Sfaxien in the coming weeks and it is believed that he is studying offers from clubs based in France (not Metz), Qatar and Turkey.
“I have not discussed with Metz about a transfer, my manager is the right person to answer that question, ” said Sokari to allnigeriasoccer.com when asked to confirm the reports.
Without further ado, this website contacted Mahmoud Ouaddeni, who handles the affairs of Sokari in Tunisia, and he answered : “ It is not true that Kingsley Sokari is joining Metz in January. ”
CS Sfaxien have put an asking price of more than $400,000 on the head of the attacking midfielder in January.
