Published: December 28, 2016
With a statement published on their official website, Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona have announced that they have struck a deal with Beitar Tel Aviv over the signing of former Nigeria U15 international Jacob Njoku.
The 19-year-old has penned a four-and-a-half year contract which will see him remain at Kiryat Shmona until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
After seeing a proposed move to Liverpool fall through in the summer, Njoku was snapped up by Beitar Tel Aviv in August, and has gone on to impress, scoring five goals in the league and three in the Toto Cup.
The ex-Porto youth-teamer will play his last game for Beitar Tel Aviv this coming Friday against Hapoel Ramat Gan before joining his new employer.
