Allnigeriasoccer.com understands the transfer of Nigeria U20 international Lukman Zakari to CS Sfaxien in the January transfer window thought to have collapsed is still alive.
The central defender has arrived in Tunisia for fresh contract talks with the Juventus of the Arabs.
There had been fears that the deal will not happen after CS Sfaxien reneged on their financial agreement with Zakari following his preliminary contract with the Ligue 1 side.
The Tunisian Ligue 1 side are confident the Nigerian talent will put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half year deal at the end of negotiations.
Spanish second-tier side Gimnastic de Tarragona had explored the possibility of signing the 18-year-old and had invited him for trials.
