Shanghai Shenhua Top Stars Obafemi Martins, Tevez Left Off Champions League Roster

Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua have left out their two biggest stars, Obafemi Martins and marquee signing Carlos Tevez from the initial Champions League roster submitted to the Asian Football Confederation.
South Korea international defender Kim Kee-hee has been included on the preliminary list but three other foreigners Demba Ba, Moreno and Fredy Guarín missed out.
With the Asian Champions League operating the 3+1 rule, manager Gus Poyet has not yet made a choice on the foreigners to drop.
Shanghai Shenhua have to submit their final list to the AFC latest February 1, seven days before their clash with Global / Tampines Rovers or Brisbane Roar.
Obafemi Martins, 32, has playing experience in both the UEFA Champions League and Europa League.
