Published: January 30, 2017
With a statement published on their official website, EFL League One outfit Port Vale have announced the hiring of Olamide Shodipo from Queens Park Rangers.
The 19-year-old has signed a deal that will keep him at the Valiants for the remainder of this season.
Shodipo broke into QPR’s first team at the beginning of this season, and has made 14 appearances to date, including seven starts.
The winger has six caps for the Republic of Ireland youth teams, but it is understood his mother has attempted to convince him to turn out for the Super Eagles instead.
He is contracted to Queens Park Rangers until the summer of 2019.
