Norwegian-based intermediary, Atta Aneke, who handles the affairs of Odion Ighalo, has provided an update on the transfer situation of the Watford striker.
The Hornets and Changchun Yatai have reached an agreement over the transfer of the Nigeria international, but an announcement has not been made because Ighalo has not agreed personal terms with the Chinese Super League club.
“Watford and Changchun Yatai have agreed a transfer fee for Ighalo but we are still negotiating the terms of the contract, ” said Atta Aneke to allnigeriasoccer.com.
It is understood that West Brom have attempted to hijack Ighalo’s proposed move to Changchun Yatai in the last few hours, but Watford have agreed to do business with the Chinese club instead.
