Official : Super Eagles Winger Joins Spanish Champions Barcelona
Published: January 31, 2017
Nigeria international Ezekiel Bassey has joined Spanish powerhouse Barcelona, subject to a medical.
The 20-year-old is one of the most exciting talents in the Nigeria Professional Football League, and was last on the books of Enyimba before his trip to Spain.
Only last year, Bassey was heavily linked with a switch to West Ham, but the transfer fell through because Enyimba did not sanction his trip to London for trials with the Hammers.
The winger follows in the footsteps of Emmanuel Amuneke, Gbenga Okunowo, Godswill Ekpolo and Haruna Babangida who previously played for Barcelona.
