Wolves' Super Eagles striker Arokodare named in lowest rated PL Team of the Season so far
Published: November 18, 2025
Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Tolu Arokodare has been named in WhoScored.com's lowest-rated Premier League Team of the Season so far, following a difficult start to life in English football.
The respected football statistics platform compiled its XI based on performance data from the opening months of the 2025-26 campaign, with the Nigeria international featuring among the division's lowest-rated players.
Arokodare arrived at Molineux with a reputation as a prolific goalscorer, but the Super Eagles forward is still awaiting his first Premier League goal, having drawn blanks in seven appearances, including two starts.
The 24-year-old enjoyed an outstanding final season in Belgium before his move to England, finishing as the Jupiler Pro League's top scorer with 21 goals in 40 matches.
He was also the recipient of the prestigious Ebony Shoe, awarded to the best African player in the Belgian top-flight.
With Wolves still searching for their first Premier League win three months into the season, the club has contributed three players to the lowest-rated XI, with Arokodare joined by goalkeeper José Sá and defender Toti Gomes.
The defensive line is completed by Brentford duo Aaron Hickey and Keane Lewis-Potter, alongside Fulham centre-back Issa Diop.
The midfield features Leeds United pair Ao Tanaka and Daniel James, Everton's Carlos Alcaraz and Fulham's Adama Traoré.
Liverpool's big-money signing Alexander Isak partners Arokodare in attack.
Of the ten outfield players selected, Arokodare received the lowest rating, earning a mark of 5.98.
