Official : Monaco Defender Echiejile Joins Sporting Gijon On Loan

Nigerian left back Elderson Echiejile has joined Spanish club Sporting de Gijón on loan from Monaco for the remainder of the season.
The ex-Flying Eagle spent the first half of this season at Standard Liege but was recalled from his loan spell in Belgium earlier this month.
A product of Bendel Insurance, Echiejile began his European career with Rennes before signing for Sporting Braga in 2010.
He will travel to Gijon tomorrow, Wednesday and will have his first training session with his new teammates the following day.
