Iwobi Delighted To Mark 50th Arsenal Appearance With A Goal

Super Eagles attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi marked his 50th appearance in an Arsenal shirt with a goal in their shock 2-1 loss to Watford in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
The Hale End Academy product gave the Gunners a lifeline when his volley trickled agonizingly into the bottom corner after 58 minutes.
Reacting after his 50th game for Arsenal, Iwobi tweeted : “Disappointing Result , Gotta Pick Our Heads Up & Go Again ... Happy To Have Marked My 50th Appearance For @Arsenal With A Goal #AFC #BIG17”.
Iwobi, the current African Youth Player of the Year, lasted the distance against the Hornets at the Emirates Stadium.
He has been on the books of Arsenal for the past fourteen years.
