Nigerian Midfielder Stars As Man City Extend Unbeaten Run To 19 Games

Highly-rated youngster Tom Dele-Bashiru was on parade at Derby Football Academy as Manchester City extended their unbeaten run in the U18 Premier League to 19 games following a 2-1 win versus Derby County.
Dele Bashiru was part of City’s three-man midfield along with Matt Smith and Phil Foden.
The visitors were one goal up heading into the interval after Fuseine Rashid deflected in a cross, before Brown’s leveller and a goal from Gonzalez sealed the win.
Dele-Bashiru subbed out in the 69th minute, same time central defender Nathaniel Ogbeta entered into the fray for the Citizens.
The midfielder has recorded 14 appearances for Man City this term across all competitions, scoring three goals.
