Published: February 05, 2017
Arsenal rising star Alex Iwobi has been handed an opportunity to settle scores with international teammate Victor Moses even before the start of the 2017-2018 season.
The Gunners will face Chelsea in a pre-season fixture at Bird’s Nest stadium in Beijing on July 22, 2017, and both Nigerians are expected to feature in that tie barring injury.
Iwobi and Moses faced off for the first time in their careers at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, with the Chelsea wing back controlling proceedings in the individual contest against the Arsenal attacking midfielder.
The Hale End Academy product logged ninety minutes, while Moses came off with two minutes remaining after the game was already won.
Chelsea and Arsenal have never played against each other outside the United Kingdom before.
