Why Tottenham Hotspur Winger Oduwa Refused To Join Slovenian Champs
Published: February 14, 2017
Tottenham Hotspur winger Nathan Oduwa refused to join Olympia Ljubljana ahead of the close of the January transfer window because he could not agree financial terms with the Slovenian champions.
According to ekipa24.si, the Nigeria U23 international cancelled the deal because there was a misunderstanding in the terms net and gross salary he would have pocketed after tax.
Before Olympia headed to Turkey for a training camp, president and sporting director of the club more or less confirmed that the transfer was completed and announced that he will be part of the squad in their fight for the title.
The 20-year-old Oduwa runs out of contract with Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
