Madura United To Use Magelang Cup To Test Fitness Of Ex-West Brom Ace Odemwingie

Indonesian Liga 1 outfit Madura United are working on a deal to sign Nigeria international Peter Odemwingie as their marquee player.
The free agent is searching for a new employer after he rejected the opportunity to extend his stay at Rotherham United in January 2017.
Madura United plan to use the Magelang Cup tournament to be held on March 29 until April 5 to test the fitness of Peter Odemwigie and will offer him a contract if he passes a medical examination.
A product of Bendel Insurance, the experienced frontman previously represented La Louvière, Lille and Lokomotiv Moscow.
In the last seven years, Odemwingie wore the jerseys of British clubs West Brom, Cardiff City, Stoke City and Bristol City.
