Leicester City Star Musa Dispels Injury Fears Ahead Of Burkina Faso Friendly
Published: March 24, 2017
Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa has moved to dispel suggestions that he won’t be fit for Monday’s international friendly between Nigeria and Burkina Faso in London.
The experienced Super Eagles star had to be substituted after 75 minutes against Senegal after picking up a knock, but that minor injury will not bring a premature end to his participation in the second friendly match.
“Musa suffered a slight knock on his lower back but he is fine and will be okay for the forthcoming match against Burkina Faso, ” a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Three days before the game against The Stallions, Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr is sweating on the fitness of Trabzonspor midfielder Eddy Onazi.
Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is all but ruled out of the clash due to a hamstring problem.
