Manchester United Preparing N46.5 Billion Bid For Tottenham, Inter Milan Stars
Published: July 12, 2017
Manchester United are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier and Inter Milan winger Ivan Perišić, according to reports in the English press.
Sky Sports says the Red Devils are preparing a bid in the region of 100 million pounds (N46.5 billion) for the two players.
Dier has four more years before his contract with Spurs runs out, and the London club have stressed that he is not for sale at any price.
Manager Jose Mourinho is in the market for a defensive midfielder and had targeted Chelsea's Matic but the relationship between United and The Blues is not so cordial after the champions were beaten to the signature of Romelu Lukaku.
The old Trafford outfit are hoping to complete the signing of Croatia international Perišić before the end of next week.
