Published: July 17, 2017
Chelsea new recruit Antonio Rüdiger is hoping to improve under the guidance of manager Antonio Conte in the new season like Nigeria international Victor Moses did last term.
The Germany international penned a five-year deal with the Premier League champions last week, and ended his two-year association with Italian club Roma in the process.
Explaining why he swapped Roma for Chelsea, Rüdiger told BeIn Sports : ''Of course, for me the biggest reason [to move to Chelsea] was the Coach, Antonio Conte.
''He’s a fantastic Coach. He improved a lot of players, like last season Moses and Alonso.
''They had a great season and I that’s why I said I want to be a part of that.''
Born in Berlin 24 years ago, Antonio Rüdiger is the son of a German father and a Sierra Leonean mother.
