Details Of Chelsea Training Session : Omeruo Returns To First Team, Moses, Tomori Wing-Backs
Published: July 17, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo resumed training with Chelsea first team on Monday ahead of their trip to Asia.
The central defender had missed the Blues workout on Friday due to an undisclosed reason before skippering a Chelsea XI the following day in a friendly versus Crawley Town.
Victor Moses and Fikayo Tomori remain in contention to make the roster to Asia as both trained on Monday and were deployed as wing-backs during the session which lasted for about one and half hours.
The three players of Nigerian descent continued their work in the gym in the morning session, before moving to the training ground pitch.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte took charge of the two training sessions outside, and worked on tactics, for example where the defenders will position themselves during corner kicks.
The Premier League champions will train twice tomorrow, Tuesday before they fly out to China.
