Super Eagles Striker Samuel Flies Out To Perm With CSKA Moscow Squad
Published: September 07, 2017
Aaron Samuel has returned to the Russian capital after he was called up to represent Nigeria in the recent World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon.
The Super Eagles striker has been named in CSKA Moscow's 19-man squad for Friday evening's Russian Premier League match between the Muscovites and Amkar Perm.
Aaron Samuel flew to Perm from Sheremetyevo Airport on Thursday, and will make his sixth appearance in the Russian Premier League if he is selected by manager Goncharenko.
Russian-born defender of Nigerian descent Brian Idowu and Fegor Ogude are on the books of Amkar Perm, but the Nigeria international has yet to feature for the club this season.
Samuel did not travel with the Super Eagles to Yaounde for their match day four fixture against Cameroon.
