Former Flying Eagles striker Alhaji Gero has spoken of his happiness after he became the first Nigerian player to score in the group stage of this season's Europa League and Champions League.

''It is an amazing feeling coming up here and get three points, great to score my first Europa League goal,'' said Alhaji Gero to allnigeriasoccer.com.
''Of course, we have the chance of qualifying for the knock out rounds, we will see where we end up.
''I think we all believe on what we are doing and we all know that we are giving everything.''
