Istanbul Basaksehir Loanee Musa Mohammed Misses Man Utd, Arsenal, West Ham Scouts
Published: September 29, 2017
Manchester United sent scouts to monitor Sporting Braga and İstanbul Başakşehir FK stars when both teams faced off in the Europa League on Thursday.
As first reported by Primeira LigaFR, the Red Devils were among several Premier League clubs that sent their representatives to the Estádio Municipal de Braga (Braga).
Arsenal, Leeds United, West Brom, Watford, Huddersfield Town, West Ham and Newcastle United all had scouts at the stadium.
Nigeria international Musa Mohammed could not feature for Turkish Super Lig club İstanbul Başakşehir, having been loaned out to Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool were credited with an interest in the former Golden Eaglets skipper after the 2013 Fifa U17 World Cup, but İstanbul Başakşehir won the race for the signature of the right back.
Mohammed was tipped to have a big future but has found opportunities limited since his move to Turkey.
