Clement Admits Chelsea Loanee Abraham Put In His Best Display In A Swansea Shirt
Published: October 14, 2017
Swansea City manager Paul Clement reckons that Tammy Abraham put in his best display to date in a Swansea City shirt in their 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
After four Premier League games at the Liberty Stadium, the Swans picked up their first win at home, thanks to strikes either side of half-time by the England U21 international.
''Tammy has a good smell for where to be and that brought him two goals,” Clement told swanseacity.com.
''He improved with his back to goal, he ran in behind a lot more which he has the pace to do and he helped the team defensively.
''That’s good to see.''
Abraham, who has been approached by the Nigerian Federation boss Amaju Pinnick to represent the Super Eagles, has scored eighty percent of Swansea City's goals in the Premier League.
The 20-year-old has recorded ten appearances for the Welsh team in all competitions.
