London-born Nigerian striker Ike Ugbo is among the talented players in the ranks of Chelsea youth team to have scored a hat-trick in 2017.
According to Chelsea Youth, six different players have netted hat-tricks for #CFCU18 this calender year : Mason Mount, Martell Taylor-Crossdale, Luke McCormick, Charlie Brown, Iké Ugbo and Conor Gallagher.
While Gallagher achieved the feat in the U18s 4-4 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in the U18 Premier League on Saturday, Ugbo tallied three goals in one game against the same opponents in the semifinals second leg of the FA Youth Cup on March 18.
Chelsea have loaned out Ugbo to Championship outfit Barnsley for the entirety of the season and he netted his first professional goal against Sunderland in August.
Before he was sent out on loan, the 19-year-old had tallied 60 goals for Chelsea's U18-23 teams in the past three years.
Ugbo joined the Stamford Bridge outfit as an U10 player.
