Victor Moses On Scoring Against 14th Premier League Club: Goal Was Long Overdue
Published: January 21, 2018
Speaking to the official website of Chelsea, Victor Moses was happy to score his first goal in the Premier League this season as the Blues thrashed Brighton & Hove 4-0 on Saturday, saying his 89th minute strike against the Seagulls was long overdue.
The Nigeria international has now scored against 14 Premier League teams : Brighton, Burnley, Leicester, Tottenham, Man City, West Ham, Aston Villa, Everton, Swansea, West Brom, Stoke, Norwich, Newcastle and Hull City.
''It’s about time, I was due one and I’m very pleased to get on the scoresheet,'' Moses stated.
''It’s important to me and I want to keep on helping the team, working hard and hopefully score more goals in the future.''
The right wing-back netted his first Premier League goal while wearing the jersey of Wigan Athletic against Hull City back in the 2009-2010 season, and has tallied 18 goals in 207 appearances in the top-flight to date.
Moses has also found the net in the EFL Championship, FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Champions League and Europa League.
