Gernot Rohr Replies : Dele Ajiboye Is A Very Good GK, Nigeria Will Win Final If....

Plateau United goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye has been rated highly by Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr, amid speculation in the media that he is not in his plans for the 2018 World Cup.

The German tactician is backing the locally assembled Super Eagles to win the African Nations Championship so long as they are not physically exhausted, bearing it in mind they spent over two hours on the pitch before seeing off Angola in the quarterfinals and had an eight-hour trip to Marrakech for the semis.

''Mentally and tactically, our team did very well (against Sudan), very good goalkeeper who saved the result,'' Gernot Rohr said.

''We expect a very nice final, finally we can play in a full stadium and not in a stadium that is empty like they did until now. We play the host country Morocco.

''On our chances, If the team recover well they can also win the final. ''

Nigeria will do battle with Morocco at Stade Mohamed V, Casablanca on February 4, starting from 2000 hours.
