FA Cup Expert Iheanacho In Search Of First Goal Against Chelsea Since April 2015

Kelechi Iheanacho will be hoping to continue his impressive goalscoring run in the Emirates FA Cup when Chelsea visit the King Power Stadium on Sunday, March 18 for a quarterfinal fixture.

The Taye Academy product has tallied nine goals in ten appearances in the FA Cup, making him Nigeria's most prolific player in the prestigious competition after only three years as a professional.

Iheanacho has never scored against Chelsea in the FA Cup, League Cup and Premier League and his only strike against the Blues across all levels was three years ago when he was wearing the jersey of City's U18 team in the final of the FA Youth Cup on April 27, 2015.

The Nigeria international has played against Chelsea's first-team four times since his arrival in England, and went the distance in Manchester City's 5-1 loss to the London team in the FA Cup in February 2016.

He has found the net against Norwich City, Aston Villa (3), Huddersfield Town, Fleetwood Town (2) and Peterborough 92) in the FA Cup.
