Nigeria's World Cup Foes Iceland Call Up Four English-Based Stars, Udinese & PSV Ace; Play Ghana June 7

Iceland coach Heimir Hallgrímsson has announced a roster for the national team's upcoming friendlies in the United States.
The manager has selected a 29-man squad for the international friendlies against Mexico (March 23) and Peru (March 27).
Four players representing English clubs have been summoned for the friendlies and it would have been five if Everton's Gylfi þór Sigurðsson had not pulled out of the squad due to injury.
They include Hörður Björgvin Magnússon (Bristol City), Birkir Bjarnason (Aston Villa), Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson (Burnley) and Jón Daði Böðvarsson (Reading).
Other United Kingdom based players that were called up are Kári árnason (Aberdeen F.C) and Aron Einar Gunnarsson (Cardiff City).
Meanwhile, the Icelandic Federation announced today they will face Ghana in a friendly match at Laugardalsvellir on Thursday, June 7th before traveling to Russia two days later.
Nigeria will meet Iceland at the 2018 World Cup on June 22 at Volgograd Arena, Volgograd.
