Skillful Nigerian Midfielders Inspiring Chelsea U18s To Win The Treble

With Chelsea almost on the verge of sealing yet another U18 league title, the young Blues Nigerian starlets Tariq Uwakwe alongside his Nigerian compatriot, Faustino Anjorin would renew rivalry with Birmingham in the FA
Youth Cup at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
Chelsea have one foot already in the final of the competition after a 3-0 victory at the home of their opponents int he first leg of the fixture.
The youngster has been central to the U18 Blues sensational run both in the Cup games and the league this season, putting in noteworthy contributions as they continue to churn out swashbuckling football as they prepare to pick up the three domestic titles at their reach.
While they could retain their Premier League South title by simply avoiding defeat at West Ham this weekend with two games to spare, all of Scunthorpe United,West Brom, Tottenham, Fulham and latterly Birmingham fell to them in
their run to the FA Youth Cup semis.
Arsenal who they could be facing in the final of the tournament look the only likely team to stop them from picking up the double though they have already beaten the young Gunners in the league this season.
This season, Uwakwe who has been widely regarded as the next closest talent to Mikel Obi in the youth ranks has played 13 games from a possible 19 in the league, scoring three goals while he has made five appearances in the FA Youth Cup, scoring one of the goals in the trouncing of Birmingham last time out.
Faustino Anjorin on his part, has scored six goals from 17 games in both competitions this season and has been viewed as one of most skillful players in the youth ranks.
While Anjorin has a solitary U18 Premier League Cup winners medal to his name, Uwakwe is a much more seasoned winner having won the U18 Premier League Cup, the U18 Premier League and the FA Youth Cup.
