Ex-Flying Eagles Skipper Ajagun Makes Team Of The Week In Belgium

Former Flying Eagles skipper Abdul Ajagun has been named to the Team of the Week for the Jupiler Pro League PlayOff II on the back of his performance against Lierse SK on Saturday, April 14.
Digital cable television provider Telenet has selected the eleven most outstanding players for each position, with the KV Kortrijk number eight the only player of Nigerian descent listed.
Ajagun notched up his eighth goal of the season in all competitions after 57 minutes in Kortrijk's 2-0 win at Herman Vanderpoortenstadion.
The ex-Panathinaikos ace finished the match with a game-high four shots on target, won two fouls, made one tackle and had a passing accuracy of 84.9 percent.
In a 3-4-3 formation, Ajagun occupied the left side of midfield, Steve De Ridder (Lokeren) and Julien Gorius (OH Leuven) were the central midfielders and José Francisco Cevallos Jr. of Lokeren the right midfielder.
Ajagun is contracted to KV Kortrijk until the end of the 2018-2019 season.
