SK Brann Hand Trial To Ex-Manchester United Starlet Kehinde & Eagles Star Lokosa
Published: July 21, 2018
Ten years after missing out on the services of Odion Ighalo, Norwegian Eliteserien club SK Brann are preparing to bring another Nigerian youngster on board after handing a trial to Tosin Kehinde.
According to Bergensavisen, Kehinde will arrive in Norway next week to begin trials with SK Brann, along with Nigeria international striker Junior Lokosa, who saw a move to Bulgarian club PFC Ludogorets fall through before the 2018 World Cup.
The Lagos-born midfielder became a free agent on July 1 after rejecting the two-year contract he was offered by Manchester United.
He was unhappy over the length of the deal United gave him and there were no guarantees that he'll be integrated into the first team next season.
Kehinde was permitted to use Manchester United's Carrington facilities as his agents continued to thrash out terms with the club earlier this month.
He joined Manchester United at the age of 13 and departs the club without making his professional debut despite training with the first team on several occasions.
Chukwuma Akabueze, Kim Ojo and Seyi Olofinjana previously represented SK Brann.
