Official: Ivory Coast International Leaves Chelsea After Ten Years
Published: July 21, 2018Through their official website, Italian Serie A club Sassuolo have confirmed the signing of young Ivory Coast international Jérémie Boga from Chelsea following a successful medical.
The duration and financial terms of the contract signed by the midfielder have not been disclosed by The Black and Greens.
Boga was signed on a permanent basis by Sassuolo, bringing an end to his ten-year association with Chelsea in the process.
A product of ASPTT Marseille, he was farmed out on loan to Rennes, Granada and Birmingham City during his time with Chelsea, having failed to break into the first team of the Premier League side.
For the upcoming season, the Marseille-born starlet will play with the number 38 jersey at Sassuolo.
The 21-year-old Boga represented France youth teams before committing his international future to Ivory Coast last year.
